Social Mobilization as Policymaking Lever? (SMAPL)

The project “Social Mobilization as a Policymaking Lever? A Transatlantic Dialogue on Community Action and Decentralized Governance during COVID-19 (SMAPL)” includes, among its activities, the joint development of health communication tools by community activists and researchers. These tools aim to enhance the unique identity, with its own grammar, that exists in the specific forms of resistance to COVID-19, contributing to other public health issues and responses to future emergencies. Additionally, the project involves the collaborative planning, with a leading role for community activists, of activities that can improve the relationship between the community and local authorities in the health sector.
